Payment Terms

These Payment Terms explain how billing works for Adduck subscriptions, how to cancel, what happens if your account is terminated, and when refunds apply. They form part of our Terms of Use and should be read alongside them.

1. How Billing Works

Adduck offers subscription plans that give you access to premium astrological content and features. When you choose a paid plan and complete your purchase, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method immediately and on a recurring basis at the start of each renewal period.

The subscription fee and billing cycle (monthly, annual, or otherwise) are displayed clearly at the point of purchase. By completing the transaction, you confirm that you have reviewed and accepted the price and billing frequency.

If a payment fails — for example, because your card has expired or insufficient funds are available — we may retry the charge automatically. If the issue is not resolved, access to premium features may be suspended until your payment details are updated.

2. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through the account settings within the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will not be charged again, but you will retain access to your subscription benefits until the period expires.

Cancelling your subscription does not entitle you to a refund for the remaining days of the current period. Access simply ends when the period concludes.

If you subscribed via the Apple App Store or Google Play, you must manage and cancel your subscription through those platforms directly. Requests sent to us cannot override in-app subscription management by those platforms.

3. Suspension and Termination of Subscription

We may suspend or terminate your subscription — and your access to the Service — if we have reasonable grounds to believe any of the following:

  • Your account has shown no activity for a continuous period of twelve (12) months;
  • You have materially breached our Terms of Use or Privacy Policy;
  • Your account is being used for fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise unlawful purposes;
  • Maintaining your access poses a risk to the security or integrity of the Service or to other users.

Where suspension or termination occurs for any of the above reasons, you will not receive a refund or credit for any unused portion of your subscription, regardless of whether the closure was initiated by you or by us.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking such action, except where the circumstances require us to act immediately.

4. Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our subscription pricing at any time. When we do, we will notify you in advance — by email, in-app notice, or both — before the new price applies to your account.

Price changes take effect at your next renewal date. If you do not want to pay the updated price, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after the new price applies will be treated as your acceptance of the updated pricing.

5. Refunds

Because our content is delivered digitally and made available immediately upon purchase, all subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started. We do not issue partial refunds for unused days.

Exceptions may apply in the following circumstances:

  • Technical failure: If a confirmed technical fault on our side prevented you from accessing the Service, please contact us and we will review your case individually.
  • Required by law: We will always honor any refund rights that apply to you under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country.

EU residents: Under EU consumer law, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase of a digital service within 14 days, provided the service has not yet begun. By choosing to access the Service immediately after purchase, you expressly waive this right of withdrawal. You acknowledge that your entitlement to a refund is limited once delivery has commenced.
